The Princess Máxima Center Foundation supports fund raising among funds, individuals and companies. The aim of the foundation is to realize projects with the center, which go beyond the regular healthcare cover. These projects contribute to the foundation's mission: to cure every child with cancer, and offer them optimal quality of life.
Goal: the acquisition of (financial) resources and facilities to support children and families, research, academy, smart hospital and outreach in the area of pediatric oncology. All revenues are applied directly for the benefit of the Princess Máxima Center.
The Princess Máxima Center Foundation has ANBI status. Transparency of funds received is a key priority.
Patient care is fully insured by the healthcare insurers, so why is fundraising necessary?
Fundraising for the Princess Máxima Center is needed for a variety of goals that are not covered by the regular healthcare system.
The Princess Máxima Center Foundation contributes to the many facilities in the center that do not fall within the healthcare insurance, but which are essential for a children's hospital in the opinion of parents, doctors and patients. Such as, for example, the possibility for parents to stay with their children day and night, the possibility of technical innovations, recuperation activities, sharing knowledge, the development of the child, and much more.
What will my donation be spent on?
All donations to the Princess Máxima Center Foundation are applied directly for the benefit of the Princess Máxima Center.
Can we donate toys and cuddly toys for the children?
Sadly, we cannot accept any cuddly toys, for hygiene reasons. You can, for example, give these to Stichting Babyspullen. We can sometimes accept toys and other materials. Contact us about this, via foundation@princessmaximacenter.nl.
